Rider Josh: The Overland Rider and Philanthropist Making a Difference

Rider Josh, born Joshuva Daniel Putti, is not an ordinary traveler. He’s a man on a mission, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others through his passion for overland riding and his philanthropic endeavors. With a heart set on “Reaching the Unreached,” Rider Josh has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to society and his unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes.

From the humble beginnings of Bandalamottu, in Andhra Pradesh, India, Rider Josh was raised in a Telugu-speaking family with a strong sense of community values. His upbringing instilled in him a deep sense of empathy and a desire to help those in need, traits that would shape his future endeavors.
Motivated by a fervent passion for exploration and a profound longing to effect positive change, Rider Josh embarked on journeys spanning continents. Yet, his path was strewn with challenges. At the tender age of 14, he bravely ventured from home, spending two years living as a nomad. These formative years proved transformative, fueling his unwavering commitment to charitable endeavors, especially those benefiting disadvantaged children.

Upon his return home, Rider Josh wasted no time in dedicating himself wholeheartedly to the cause of child welfare. To equip himself with the necessary skills and knowledge, he underwent rigorous training in NGO management, immersing himself in the intricacies of running such organizations. His relentless pursuit of expertise in this field underscores his steadfast determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
In 2013 he visited Uganda and during his travels , he witnessed firsthand the daunting challenges confronted by marginalized communities, especially children. This profound experience served to further fuel his determination to become an agent of change, inspiring him to take decisive action in championing.

Eventually, in 2020, he founded his own NGO, the “Rider Josh Foundation,” with a clear mission of “Reaching the Unreached.” Through his foundation, Rider Josh has tirelessly worked to provide assistance and support to those who need it the most.

Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, including financial hurdles and logistical obstacles, Rider Josh remained steadfast in his commitment to his cause. He personally oversaw the operations of his foundation, ensuring that aid reached its intended recipients and made a tangible impact on their lives.

Rider Josh’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. He has been honored with several prestigious awards and recognitions, including the Universal Records Forum 2020 World Record for his outstanding achievements. He was also recognized as the First Indian to attend one of Asia’s biggest Burrapa biker fest in Thailand in 2020. Additionally, he received the Swami Vivekananda Changemaker Award in 2021 and was nominated for the Padma Shri in 2022. In the same year, he was bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate for his Work Experience and Lifetime Achievements. His dedication to human rights led to his membership in the World Human Rights Protection Commission in 2022, and he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Cosmic Seniors Paradise in 2023.

Rider Josh’s story serves as an inspiration to many, proving that with determination, compassion, and a drive to make a difference, one person can indeed change the world. As he continues his journey, Rider Josh remains committed to his mission of spreading love and hope, carrying forward the noble message of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family). Embarking on a world tour starting from 10th April, he aims to foster unity, understanding, and kindness across borders, embodying the spirit of global citizenship and interconnectedness.
