Mumbai’s art fraternity witnessed a grand celebration of creativity as renowned singer Anuradha Paudwal, former Union Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Dr. Sanjay Bhide, Rajesh Dhabre, Commissioner of GST & Customs, Umesh Patel, Rinkal Patel, Satish Patil and Bhagyashree Pansare inaugurated The Gold Dynasty Art Exhibition at the iconic Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.
The inauguration ceremony also witnessed the presence of renowned artist Prakash Bal Joshi, noted theatre personality Dolly Thakore, and several distinguished personalities from the worlds of art, culture and public life, adding to the grandeur of the occasion and making it a memorable celebration of creativity and artistic excellence.
Bringing together a remarkable collection of over 150 paintings and sculptures by artists from across India, the exhibition opened to art lovers, collectors and connoisseurs, offering a vibrant showcase of creativity, imagination and artistic excellence.
Art has always been one of India’s greatest treasures. It reflects the country’s diverse cultures, traditions, landscapes and emotions. The Gold Dynasty embraced this richness by presenting works spanning a wide spectrum of artistic styles and mediums. From evocative figurative compositions and breathtaking landscapes to contemporary abstractions, spiritual interpretations and thought-provoking sculptures, the exhibition showcased the many faces of Indian creativity.
The exhibition featured works by a distinguished line-up of artists including Abhijit Chaubal, Amit Gautam, Atul Bhalerao, Ayushi Jain, Bhuwan Silhare, Bodhi Shilpa, Chandrakant Tajbije, Debarati Sen, Datta Bansode, Deepak Garud, Dinkar Jadhav, Ganesh Hire, Gautam Mukherjee, Jyothi Menon, Karuna Kiran Shigvan, Kashyap Ray, Kiran Shigvan, Mamata Mondkar Shingade, Manoj Das, Nilesh Nikam, Nilesh Vede, Paras Parmar, Prakash Bal Joshi, Pradip Sarkar, Priti Mehta, Sachin Kharat, Satish Patil, Sharad Kale, Sonu Gupta, Vishva Sahani, Vishal Phasale, Vibha Singh, Vinayak Potdar, Yashica Dhabre and Yuvraj Patil, among many others. Together, they created a vibrant tapestry of artistic voices reflecting the diversity and dynamism of contemporary Indian art.
Presented by Yellow Orchid Heritage, the exhibition brought together artists from different regions, backgrounds and artistic philosophies. While some artists drew inspiration from India’s timeless traditions and spiritual heritage, others explored modern themes and personal narratives through bold experimentation and contemporary aesthetics. The result was an exhibition that offered something unique for every viewer.

Presented by Yellow Orchid Heritage, The Gold Dynasty Art Exhibition is currently on display at Jehangir Art Gallery, AC 1, 2 & 3, 161-B, M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, and will continue till June 8, 2026, remaining open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
